Force Recommendation

This document is a summary of the 2009 recommendation of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force on screening for breast cancer. It is intended for use by primary care clinicians. A summary was first published in Annals of Internal Medicine on November 17, 2009. (Ann Intern Med 2009;151:716-726.) This summary reflects the USPSTF’s December 2009 update of the recommendation language.

BREASTSENS RECOMMENDATION: This article is very lengthy and though it is recommended for use by primary care
